Exylia Staff
Terms of Service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
The rules for using Exylia Staff. By signing in, adding the bot or linking a network you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and, if you own a workspace, the Data Processing Agreement.
1. Agreement
These terms govern the use of Exylia Staff (the "Service"): the panel at staff.exylia.net, the gateway at staff-gateway.exylia.net, the Exylia Staff Discord bot (the "Bot"), the public pages of each workspace and the related programming interfaces. The Service is operated by Cristobal Aranda, a natural person domiciled in Chile ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
By signing in, creating a workspace, linking a network or adding the Bot to a Discord server you accept these terms. If you act on behalf of a server, network or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it; "you" then also means that organisation. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
You sign in with Discord and are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done through your session. You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age where you live, to create or own a workspace. Staff members and players who sign in to appeal or answer a form must be old enough to use Discord where they live.
The owner of a workspace (the "Customer") decides who joins it, with which role and permissions, and is responsible for the actions of its members.
3. Your responsibilities over the data you process
When you link a network, the ExyliaStaff plugin sends the Service data about your players and staff, and the Bot processes data of your Discord servers, as described in the Privacy Policy. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor, under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. You agree to:
- Have a valid legal basis for the processing and inform your players and staff in a clear, accessible way, for example in your server rules, website or Discord. The Data Processing Agreement includes a notice you can adapt.
- Enable only the modules you need, set retention periods no longer than necessary, and not use notes, forms, reasons or evidence to collect sensitive data, passwords, payment card data or any data you are not allowed to collect.
- Decide carefully what you publish: the public ban list and the information the Bot posts to your Discord channels are visible to everyone who can see them.
- Review the automatic actions you enable, such as chat auto-moderation, and give players a way to contest them.
- Assess and meet any additional obligations if your network is aimed at minors.
- Answer the requests of your players and staff, and tell us when a deletion needs our help.
- Comply with the laws that apply to you, the Minecraft End User License Agreement, Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and the terms of any service you connect.
4. The Discord bot and custom bots
You may add the Bot only to Discord servers you manage or are authorised to manage. It needs the permissions shown when you invite it, including managing roles for rank sync; if you remove a permission or the Bot, the features that need it stop working.
If you connect your own bot application (a custom bot), you are its owner towards Discord and responsible for its compliance with the Discord Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy, including requesting any privileged intents it needs and keeping its token safe. We store the token encrypted and use it only to run the Bot's features for your workspace. You can disconnect it at any time from the panel.
You must not use the Bot to spam, to message people who did not join your servers or your staff team, or to collect data from Discord beyond what the Service's features need.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes, or to harass, discriminate against, dox or track people outside your network.
- Try to access workspaces, data or accounts that are not yours, or bypass permissions, limits or security measures.
- Send falsified data, overload the Service, or probe, scan or attack it, except in coordinated security research agreed with us in writing.
- Upload evidence or content that is illegal, infringes others' rights or sexualises minors.
- Copy, resell or offer the Service to third parties as your own, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows.
If you find a security vulnerability, report it to [email protected] and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it.
6. Plugin and third-party services
The ExyliaStaff plugin is sold and licensed separately, under its own licence terms and the terms of the marketplace where you buy it. The Service depends on third-party services such as Discord and Cloudflare and, optionally, AI providers and the other Exylia apps you connect, whose own terms apply to your use of them.
Exylia Staff is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. It is not affiliated with Discord or Cloudflare.
7. Your data and our rights
You keep all rights over the data your network sends and the content you add. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process and display it in order to provide the Service to you, in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement.
The Service, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, apart from the right to use the Service while they are in force.
8. Price and changes to the Service
The panel and the Bot are offered at no additional charge to users of the ExyliaStaff plugin, with usage limits such as an evidence storage quota and a monthly allowance of AI usage. Additional AI tokens can be bought where the panel offers them; the price is shown before you pay, the tokens do not expire and they are used only by the workspace they were bought for. If you buy as a consumer, the rights granted by Chile's Law 19.496 on consumer protection, or by the consumer law of your country, apply and are not limited by these terms. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and they will have their own conditions, which you will need to accept before any charge.
We may add, change or remove features, and set reasonable usage limits. If we plan to shut the Service down entirely, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance so you can keep what you need.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time: remove the Bot from your servers, unlink your network, delete your account from your account page and ask us to delete your workspace.
We may suspend or close a workspace or an account that breaches these terms or the law, creates a risk for the Service or other users, or has been inactive for a long time. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
When a workspace is deleted, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. No warranty
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every command will reach your servers, or that its data and analyses will be complete or accurate. Indicators, scores and AI outputs, such as report labels, staff reviews, alt detection or chat moderation, support your decisions but do not replace them: check them before acting on a player or a staff member.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, revenue, data or reputation, or for damages caused by third-party services, by your staff's decisions or by your own configuration. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or, if you paid nothing, to 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, nor the rights that consumer protection law grants you.
You will hold us harmless from claims by third parties, including your players, your staff or authorities, arising from data you processed unlawfully, content you published or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version at the top and announce material changes on the panel at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Disputes will be submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to the mandatory rights and forum that consumer or data protection law in your country may grant you.
If a clause is held invalid, the rest remain in force. Questions: [email protected].
